Zarifah and Toboggan Run are being conditioned by Eric Scherer at the Evangeline Training Center in Louisana. Most people are not as familiar with Eric but most people are quite familiar with his dad - Merrill Scherer - who most recently won a $54,000 allowance race at Keeneland race track on 4/7/06, race 5 with a horse called Fiery Dancer with Javier Castellano aboard. We think his fathers training skills have rubbed off on him and are excited to have him training our horses.
Eric Scherer and Sarah Drury are the dynamic duo that will bring Zarifah, Toboggan Run, and Commanche Sunrise to the winners circle. Their impeccable attention to detail and outstanding horsemanship are evident in everything they do. We are very pleased to have made their acquaintance and look forward to a long and rewarding relationship.
Upon final syndication, and/or if a change in trainers be required, we will seek out the services of some of the best names in the thoroughbred business, ie - a Christophe Clement whose credentials are almost without precedent. Other trainer considerations include Kiaran McLaughlin, Michael Dickenson, and Bill Mott.
